Used Standard Metals gravity filler/briner. The machine has 24 valves and is currently set up as a briner/finisher for pickle jars. The machine was purchased in 1992 at a cost of approximately $95,000. It was used for 4 months and removed from service. The product contact parts of the machine are 316 stainless steel while the frame is 304 stainless steel. It operates from left to right and utilizes a feedscrew infeed. It has change parts for several containers. If gallon containers are run, they would be run on every other station. Maximum bottle diameter is 6 inches. The machine is capable of production rates of up to 250 cpm on quarts. The machine needs the fiberglass product reservoir. If the machine was to be used to fill small neck bottles, a new set of filling nozzles would have to be manufactured. The machine was originally set up for hydraulic drive, but could be converted to electric.
